The maral hunting program

Tyan-Shanskiy maral - is one of the most interesting kind of the wilderness in Kazakhstan. It is a variety of cervus songaricus and is much bigger than marals in Russia anв Mongolia. Due to its own specific difficulties of hunting people who want to get a good trophy have to spend at least 7 days in the mountains. The amateurs of maral hunting may travel for it either by foot or on horses.

Dates of hunting: September 1 - December 31.

Note: Hurt and not found animal is considered to be a trophy and costs US $2000.

The price of the service includes:
-juridical documents: visa support, permission on import/export of weapon, admission, government duty tax, veterinarian documents;
-meeting/arriving at Almaty Airport;
-provision with transport to the hunting facilities (except helicopter);
-provision with transport (except helicopter) to the hunting facilities (Jeeps, horses);
-living and eating at the hunting facilities;
-provision with 2 guides per hunter;
-payment to the service employees, including 1 guide per group of tourist;
-1st processing, packaging and sending of the trophy;
-provision with all information needed .

The price of the service doesn't include:
-aviation tickets to Almaty and back;
-usage of helicopter;
-alcoholic beverages, payment of private telephone talks;
-additional payment for baggage overweight at he airport check-in;
-living in Almaty;
-excursion around the city;
-price of 1 extra day of hunting US $400 per day
-price for the service of the guide US $250 per day
